New, Clean and Safe Environment
Built and designed to today’s standards, the facility is state of the art. Fire sprinklers are in every room, and there is fire resistant dry wall, concrete block construction, and multiple fire extinguishers throughout the facility. Personnel trained in emergency first aid are always present during operating hours.

State of the Art Facility
We have taken the lessons learned over the generations of modern child care and applied them to our facility.

The first noticeable feature of the facility is its open floor plan. This allows for close monitoring of all activity from across the room. The office, cribs, and the nursery are intentionally designed with windows and full length glass doors so that there are no hidden corners. Even the children’s bathroom door is a half door, left open during the day for the same reason.

We have gone the extra mile in other areas of the program as well. We have an on-site laundry room to wash cot sheets daily and to address any "accidents" that may occur. The outside play area is equipped with "misters" to cool those hot summer days. The murals are not only pleasing to the eye, but they are also educational: Each animal represents a letter of the alphabet by having its name spelled out.

The front door is secured by a combination lock. Only those parents with the combination may enter unannounced. There is a door bell for visitors. The playground and all other doorways are secured. Emergency exits are accessed through a quick release paddle at the front door and also through the unlocked rear door to the playground.

Specialized Infant Nursery
The nursery has been designed with safety and a warm loving environment in mind. The nursery is glass enclosed with a separate web camera for close monitoring of your loved one. The exercise area is equipped with a "Tot Tunnel Climber" and a "Watch Me Walk" bar and mirror, along with many other sensory toys. The equipment is designed to allow exploration, muscle strengthening and hand-eye coordination exercises.

Hands Free Bathroom
In order to reduce the risk of the spread of infectious diseases common among children, our bathroom has been especially designed with state of the art fixtures. The toilets, faucets, hand dryers and soap dispensers are all electronically operated. A pass of your child's hand near any of them activates them without the need for touching. This reduces exposure of your child to unnecessary contamination.

New Outside Playground Equipment
The experts in play equipment for children, Little Tykes, have equipped our outside play area. We have the large Playstructure 5, equipped with two slides, viewing portals and a climbing apparatus. Infants have the wonderful Tot Tree to explore. Additional new toys include tricycles by Angeles, a climbing dinosaur and other challenging playthings. Your child is protected from falls by state of the art, rubberized play tiles from Spectraturf. In order to avoid the dirt and contamination of sand and bark, we went to the added expense of a rubberized play surface. It is both safe and easy to clean.

Science Center, Computer Center, Listening Center
We believe that preschool should be a well-rounded, fun experience for your child. We therefore focus on the physical growth of your child through smart-play and a diversified learning experience. In support of these approaches, Alpine Tendercare is equipped with three distinct learning areas: a computer center, a science center and a listening center. Throughout the day, your child will be rotated through these centers so that he or she can experience a multitude of learning devices.

Busy Bodies Toddler Room
It is a whole new world when babies become toddlers. They walk, they talk and they begin to develop social relationships with each other. Our program is filled with concrete sensory experiences, emphasizing importance of their environment and the people in them. Your child will build language, motor and social skills, while exploring the continually changing world around him or her. Our teachers provide amazing group activities while individually nurturing each child.
